Sourced from the Frankland sub-region of the Great Southern, open fermented for ten days on skins before pressing to a new French oak puncheon to complete fermentation and eighteen months maturation. Aromas of black cherry, liquorice and spice lead to a palate of intense black fruits woven around ripe tannins.
Hand picked Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon was cold soaked, fermented for ten days on skins in small one tonne open fermenters before eighteen months in maturation in new French oak barriques. Mint, blackcurrant with a complex mid palate, finely structured tannins and long finish.
A lifted aromatic nose of crushed black fruits, briary blackberries, red liquorice strap & menthol. The fleshy, generous mid palate is supported by a splash of Shiraz.
Intense aromatics of perfumed violets & star anise. Generous dark chocolate & red berry mid palate supported by fine chalky tannins.
A fruit driven, medium bodied red with black cherry and cigar box aromatics leading to a red currant and stewed rhubarb palate, enhanced with a hint of Shiraz.
A food friendly, medium bodied red blend. A densely coloured, fragrant wine with a blackcurrant, bay leaf and cedary mid palate.
A blackish, brick red colour, brooding black jube, leather and oak derived spice leads to a gamey, savoury mid palate. Enhanced with a splash of Petit Verdot.
This classic dry red style is blended from estate grown varieties well suited to the climate and region.
