Wine Tasting Notes

An elegant and refined Swan Valley red blend. BDX represents the five Bordeaux varietals; Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Malbec, Merlot, but with a splash of the Spanish varietal Tempranillo because we like to be Rebellious!

Winemaking Notes

All the varieties were hand picked from the RiverBank Estate vineyard, vinified and matured separately in second and third use French oak hogsheads, before careful blending and bottling. Structured, bright and finishing with great length. Tannins in check, oak in balance, a wine with great cellaring potential (5-8 years).

Blend:   71.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14.5% Cabernet Franc, 3.5% Petit Verdot, 3% Malbec, 2% Merlot, 5.5% Tempranillo
