2024 Rebellious Old Vine Malbec Shiraz

RiverBank Estate sits adjacent to the old RiverBank Juvenile Detention Centre which was built in the 1960’s and housed boys who found themselves in trouble with the law. Rebellious holds two meanings; in reference to these troubled youth and to our unique wines being different to the mainstream varietals.

Tasting Notes:

A rich yet supple wine with ripe plum, dark cherry and hints of cocoa on the nose. The palate shows depth and generosity, balancing dark berry fruit with savoury spice and fine, velvety tannins. A moreish, well-rounded expression showing the seamless integration of barrel age and fruit.
